I’m sure those who have lived in Piha longer than 15 years will remember when we regularly had power cuts. Nothing for 2 or 3 a week and often for hours and hours. No generators were delivered in those day.

All trees and vegetation on your land are your responsibility and you must ensure you keep all your trees and vegetation clear of the Growth Limit Zone. The Growth Limit Zone is the MINIMUM space surrounding any overhead network power line that must be free of trees or vegetation. The size of the Growth Limit Zone varies depending on the voltage of the network power lines.
