Piha, Karekare and Anawhata’s First Responders
Last night our First Responders celebrated their new ‘head quarters’ – the new garage at the entrance to the Piha Domain. This garage was ‘purpose designed’ to fit the big new ambulances if St John Ambulance ever wish to station one out here in Piha.

All looked very spiffing in their uniforms as they listened to Doug Gallagher, Auckland Districts St John Ambulance’s Operations Manager, Andrew Everiss, Waitakere Territory Manager and Mark Thomas EMT in training, justifiably sing their praises.
Our First Responders and Volunteer Fire Brigade are truly the angels in our community.
Photos: I couldn’t decide which was the best so have published one big one and three smaller.
