NZ Police National Summer Road Safety Campaign at Piha Beach

This event is the launch of the 2014/2015 summer road safety campaign.  The event involves the parking of a number of emergency services vehicles in the car park for a photo shoot , speeches and road safety campaign message event using local school children drawing messages in the sand.

Two way traffic will be maintained in Marine Parade South using Police personnel to direct local resident access.

The event will be attended by Minister of Police, Michael Woodhouse, and Commissioner of Police, Mike Bush and will usher in several nationwide initiatives to make sure people have safer journeys this summer, and beyond.
