No closed meetings Piha R&R

Why would Piha R&R want a closed meeting ?

From the Piha Ratepayers and Residents Minutes 5/2/16

Community hui. A closed meeting for chairs and deputy chairs of Piha’s wide number of organisations to discuss issues of mutual concern and interest, with a view to collaboration where appropriate.

Not about us without usI can’t understand why the Library Trust would want to send their Chair and Deputy when you’ve fought and threatening them for the last I don’t know how many years over your claim to own the building.

I couldn’t imagine why the Piha CoastCare Trust would want to join up and have a ‘hui’ with you : you’ve slammed them for years.  You’ve been incredibly rude to their members and hardly, if ever, offered or given them support.

I can’t imagine why the Bowling Club would want to meet with you after you spent several years trying to have their building removed (at their cost) so you could have a nice shiny tennis club building.

I would ask all organisations or groups in Piha to refuse to have anything to do with any meeting unless it’s an open and well advertised meeting.

Why are you so obsessed with ‘closed door meetings Piha RnR”?

Note: The Piha Library Trust, Piha CoastCare Trust, Piha Bowling Club or any of their members had any suggestions or input into this article.

The Library Trusts has not been asked to attend. The library has served the community for 50 years or more though, longer than the R&R, so they might not know we exist.

  2. Allan Weeks says:

they must have something to hide from the people of Piha if they have closed meetings so what are they up to……………………
