Simon is off to help the Aussies fight fires
Simon is a Piha resident, ranger, forester and senior volunteer firefighter with Piha Volunteer Fire Service.
Most of us will be aware of the huge problems Australia is having controlling their bush fires. Simon is off to give a hand to the Australian fire service fighting them.
What an amazing experience for Simon and how lucky are we to have his experience in our community when he returns.
All the best Simon and come home safely to Piha.
