Now in its 11th year, the Titirangi Festival of Music is well established with a core audience of music lovers and community enthusiasts.

Festival Director David Parker is thrilled to have two knockout concerts featuring in this year’s festival, and a line up of exciting new collaborations with local musicians and venues.

Black Seeds“First up on Friday 8th April we’ve The Black Seeds taking the stage at the Titirangi War Memorial Hall, with support from renowned DJ Manuel Bundy.

Dave DobbynOn Saturday 9th we’ve the legendary Dave Dobbyn and band performing in the Hall with support act Hopetoun Brown.  Both these concerts are sure to sell out“ says Parker.

Classical music will also be well represented when the APO appear for the first time at the Festival to perform a selection of Beethoven pieces on Sunday 17th April.  The APO are coming out as part of the Festival in addition to the programme.

Street Band Super Dero TitirangiExpect also a big emphasis on family-friendly free music in such events as Village Day on Saturday 9th, with local musicians, an art-workshop trail, marching bands and street performers from noon until early evening.

As Parker says; “there’s something in the Festival this year for everyone, and that’s what it’s all about! – so come and join us on the weekend of 8 – 10 April!”
