A ‘Surf Break Research’ meeting in Piha poorly attended

Surf Break ResearchNine public attended this meeting on April 2nd in Piha SLSC !

I was very surprised not to see more people there.  I was definitely expecting someone  from the Waitakere Ranges Local Board and the Piha Residents & Ratepayers to be there.

 

Surf Break Research PihaIt was a very interesting presentation and some good questions were asked and answered.

eCoast Marine Consulting and Research has been awarded a major research grant to study New Zealand’s famous surf breaks.

As part of a consortium led by the University of Waikato, funding was awarded from New Zealand’s Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment as part of its 2015 Science Investment programme.’
