C’mon Auckland Transport – unsafe for all

0 Comments 14 June 2016

This accident happened on May 7th

BVRFence01aHow long, Auckland Transport, before it’s fixed?

From May 7th to June 14th this pedestrian path has slowly eroded so  that now it’s too dangerous for pedestrians to walk past.

9/5/16 From AT: “Dear Bobbie,  Thank you for contacting Auckland Transport regarding the saftey fence on the corner of Beach Valley Road and Sylvan Glade.

The appropriate team has been notified of the situation and an investigation will take place with an emergency priority.  Any necessary actions will be carried out.

Please allow 10 working days to receive a formal response.,  Auckland Transport. “

Didn’t receive a word after this so wrote to them:

31/5/16  To AT: “May I have an update on this please.  I’ve not heard a thing.  Thanks heaps Bobbie

Still haven’t heard one word.

The problem is this is the narrowest part of the road so it’s also very dangerous to walk on the road.

When, Auckland Transport, are you going to fix it?

The more it erodes the more it’ll cost to fix and the more chance some pedestrian will be hurt.
